Laboratory Services

Memorial Hospital's Laboratory Department provides services in blood bank, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, immunochemistry, microbiology, microscopy, point-of-care testing, serology, special chemistry and urinalysis.

Composed of nationally certified laboratory techs and phlebotomists, laboratory personnel participate in continuing education to ensure they are familiar with the most modern technologies and procedures. Approximately 95 percent of laboratory testing is done in-house.

The ability to do the majority of testing in-house is vital to expedited patient diagnoses and treatments. Our laboratory is staffed 24 hours per day to provide the best care possible year-round. Quality patient service and satisfaction are paramount.

Our laboratory offers routine lab testing for individuals who wish to know more about their health. Ranging from a Vitamin D check all the way through a multi-part Cholesterol panel, this service provided by our Laboratory Department helps our patients stay on top of continued health concerns on their schedule.

Outpatient blood draws are available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm. Please call to discuss your blood draw needs outside of those hours to ensure that we have everything prior to your arrival. Drop-offs are accepted at any time.

*Orders from your healthcare provider are needed, outside of Wellness blood draws available periodically throughout the year.

Once you have orders from your provider, all you need to do is simply come to the 1st Floor phlebotomy area during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm, and you will be seen as soon as possible. If you need to be seen outside of those hours, come to the 2nd Floor Registration Desk.
